Freddie O'Connell, a friend and neighbor (and now mayor of Nashville), reached out to me with a simple request, “Do you have any time this week or weekend to talk about creative design work for my bid for Metro Council next year?” That marked the beginning of our collaboration on what would become his winning campaign.
